THE REVOLUTION

Ok i'm just a bit excited today .
First off i should say hello everyone.

Now i just got back from another shoeing job today, this time with the Vet who owns the horse. This is the third time now. Today as i was explaining this method i use and i could tell the Vet (a woman ) was very interested in what i had to say and "STILL" looking deeply into my method made a great comment that i never really thought deeply about myself.  What she said as we were discussing things is that " These particular elements of my shoeing are what make it A Revolutionary method.  You know "Revolutionary" is a big word.  I couldn't help but bring up with her the very word "Revolutionary" that she used.  It almost came as a shock to me as i've never really looked at my own thoughts in that Light.        So Be It !!!     Revolutionary works for me !

Revolutionary , Works for me - works for you - and most importantly it works for the HORSE.  Who am i to argue straight from the Vets mouth to you.    Revolutionary !    i like it .

By the way , here's some news with her horse.  This particular horse has flat feet and very splayed out with lots of flare and bulges at the quarters with rolled under heels.  These are some of the most serious problems and can be a real bear to correct. Also this horse is a problem to work on to correct as the hoof wall is very thin ( not much room to make corrections - so a very slow process ). Combine that with the terrain/paddock the horse was living in (wet during the winter ) last year when i was getting the horse just about dialed in during the rainy season the feet/hoofwall Drifted and we were "Set Back" in the process.   Bummer !  i don't like that. All my hard work and exacting tolerances with risks of quicking , it just hurt to be set back.

Ok the good news !   Where the horse is now for the past 7 months is in a nice dry covered stall that has awesome drainage ( horse never standing in mud or puddles ) so we made it through the winter in flying colors. what does this mean ?  Today the feet are showing "For the first time" these feet are coming out of the problems plaguing the horse.  Great integrity in the hoof wall- good looking angles - flare down to almost nothing on the left front and very little on the right.  By the end of this summer season these feet are going to be awesome !

All i can tell you is "This Method WORKS" !   this is just another in a long line of successes with horses with problem feet coming out of it smelling like a rose.  And these are/were the kind of feet that would have put "OFF" a sale or purchase of a horse. Someone looking at a horse to buy it seeing these kind of feet most likely would have decided not to buy.        this is Very Rewarding !

Look you guys i need you !   i need help in getting this message out to people - to the horses - to owners - riders - anyone involved with horses .  You can help .    Please send people to this blog - please encourage communication and interaction through this blog. The educational value of correct shoeing / soundness is at the head of breakthrough technology. If you really value your horses come on and be a part of the revolution.

Hi John. Your article is good, but you don`t explain your shoeing method although I think I know what your doing. I agree that the whole industry needs to move into the 21st century to save the horse from suffering. Check out my website as I have a new shoe to help the horse.www.bfsequine.com Warwick "The Farrier"

Hey Warwick. Thank you for taking part here. Checked out your site - nice. The shoe you call attention to is much like the Natural Balance shoe and there's alot of sense to the dynamics of breakover that is talked about there as well. This issue of long toes is finally starting to come out, that's good to see. It's a step in the right direction.
Thank you for calling attention to the fact that i didn't mention what exactly my method is - as you know it's not an easy task explaining some things by text - your website is an example ( Diagrams )to help explain. So i'm actually putting a DVD together because the method i have is just too difficult to explain by words. When i actually have a client in front of me "With" the horse it's still difficult for some people to grasp. So where i am currently is ( and what i forgot to put in the post ) is suggesting people leave me their email addresses so i can notify them as soon as the DVD is ready. There will also be a book coming out soon enough.
Thanks for making a mark here - together we all can make a difference.

      Hey John.
Sorry I have not been back sooner, I have so much going on at the moment. Thanks for your comments - I have been pushing this thing for ten years and it has been like pushing s--t up a hill! But I think at last people are starting to realise things need to change. There is still allot to do but we will get there. I'm sure we can do something with a JV at some point. You can use my email if you like, I think we have allot to talk about. Also I'm looking for a distirbutor for SSS Performance shoes in the US. Good luck and talk soon. Warwick.

Hello , thanks for stopping by again.

You and i can sure talk about doing a JV.

i have to agree with you - the industry has kinda taken a "Set" in all the old standards and it's going to take a big push and concerted effort to really make that change -  But - worth it !    The horses need it ...

Keep me in touch with your ideas about the distributorship for the SSS shoes.   There are some pretty good resources out here even if it's me helping out with that.     Let me know.

as always ---  happy and safe riding and remember to always Care4Horses.com
